Volcano had a population of 3,060 people in 2017, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Hawaii Business Daily.

Volcano is a census-designated place in Hawaii. The median age of Volcano residents was 51, with 46.8 percent of the total population being female and 53.2 percent male.

The state’s total population in 2017 was 1,421,658.
