3.1 percent of University of Hawaii at Manoa students played sports on university teams in 2016-2017


In 2016-2017, 3.1 percentage of University of Hawaii at Manoa students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

University of Hawaii at Manoa has 12,881 undergraduate students, of which 56 percent are women and 44 percent are men, and a total student body of 17,612 students. Of these students, 250 men and 304 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 4.3 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at University of Hawaii at Manoa with the most participants are football (119), all track combined (106) and swimming and diving (57).
