University of Hawaii at Manoa and University of Hawaii at Hilo reported receiving the most state financial aid during the 2015-16 academic year among Hawaii schools, according to a Higher Education Tribune analysis of federal data.

The analysis is based on data reported annually to the U.S. Department of Education.
